These FAQs should make it easier for you to understand the ordering process.  If you don’t find an answer to your question below, feel free to send us your question, and we will do our best to get back to you.  Make it a good question and we’ll add it to this list!

  1. Is there anything else I can get that’s not on the store?  Sorry.  What you see is what we have.
  2. Do you accept debit and credit cards including AMEX?  Yes.  We accept all major credit and debit cards.
  3. I don’t see any options to pay for my items with cash or by check.  Why?   For security purposes, we are only accepting credit or debit cards at this time.  We may add more options in the future.
  4. I see a field for coupons.  Where can I find coupons?  No OOSC coupons are available yet, but they are coming.
  5. Why are some sizes a $1 more than others?  The manufacturer charges OOSC one dollar extra for any sizes over XL.  Naturally, we must pass that increase to the buyer.
  6. What does the “Y”  mean next to the sizes?  The “Y” means  “youth”.
  7. How come the hats, mens shorts and youth shorts do not show the logos?  We do not have all the logos yet and we are working on getting them.  If the item description mentions the logo, it will be on your items.
  8. Will the logos look exactly like the photo?  We can’t guarantee that the logos will look exactly like the photo, but we think we’re close!
  9. How come I don’t see the “Add-to-Cart” button?  The store will not display the “Add-to-Cart” button until you select all your size, color and/or personalization options.
  10. I want my child’s name on their shirt.  How do I do that?  There are only a few items that offer personalization on the store.  You can choose either “No, thanks” or “Yes!  I will write my preferences in the ‘Order Notes’ section upon checkout”.  If you selected any personalization, please use the “Order Notes” section upon checkout (see image below).personalization
  11. Why did my price go up after opting for personalization?  It’s $4 more to have personalization on each item.
  12. Why am I required  to choose a password upon checkout?  Everybody who makes purchases on the OOSC store must create an account.  Please write your password down in a safe place. If you do forget your password, there is a password recovery link available.
  13. I don’t have a PayPal account.  Why must I click “Proceed to PayPal” to pay?  PayPal is OOSC’s e-commerce merchant.  It is simply the gateway through which OOSC will process credit cards.  Once at PayPal, you will have the option to pay with either a PayPal account OR with a credit or debit card.  Make sure you click the link to “Pay with a debit or credit card” (see image below).paypal-options
  14. When will I receive my items?  Once you submit your payment.  OOSC receives notification that your payment was either successful or not successful.  If it was successful with OOSC receiving your funds, we will complete the order and you will get an email telling you that your purchase was successful and you will be credited for the item.   OOSC shop representatives check new orders on Sundays and provide the orders to the manufacturer on Mondays.  Items are shipped 7-10 business days after OOSC’s order.  Items will be handed to buyers at the swim team gatherings as the items come in.  The process from your completed order to items being received is 2-3 weeks.
  15. I ordered the slideshow DVD.  Where do I pick it up?  DVDs will be available at the OOSC front desk in your name and you will be notified via email when your DVD is ready.
  16. Who makes money from the DVD.  It’s not that Tamer guy is it?  No.  All proceeds go to Old Orchard Swim Club.
  17. Where do I download the downloadable slideshow?  You will find the download link in your confirmation email that will arrive in your inbox seconds after your purchase (see below).

  19. I downloaded a .zip file.  What gives?  You will download as a .zip file.  Double click the zip file to unzip and open with QuickTime (included on Apple computers and a free download for Windows computers).
  20. How many times can I download my video?  You will be able to download this file two times total.
  21. Will my download link eventually expire?  Yes.  Your download link expires in 30 days.
